Where is the office and when are office hours?

Waterville Gas is located at 700 Farnsworth Road in Waterville, OH. Our office hours are Monday through Friday 8am - 4pm. Our phone number is (419) 878-4972. In case of an emergency, a technician is always on call and will answer the phone between 4pm and 8am.


How can I make a payment?

  • We accept the following payment options:
    • Cash or checks may be dropped off at our office at 700 Farnsworth Road Waterville, OH, during business hours or placed in our drop box that is in the middle of the parking lot, after business hours.
    • Checks may be mailed to P.O. Box 259 Waterville, OH 43566. Please do not mail cash.
    • Automatic Bill Payment (ACH) - The full payment will be automatically deducted from your specified account on the due date. To inquire about Automatic Bill Payment, please click here for more information.

Can I get on a budget plan?

Yes, you can get on a budget billing plan. By using a budget plan, you can spread the cost of winter heating bills over the entire year. Your account must be current to be eligible. Budget billing is offered once per year beginning with your August payment.


Can I choose my gas supplier?
Waterville Gas Company does not presently offer a customer choice program.


I just moved in, how do I open an account with Waterville Gas Company?

Please call our office at (419) 878-4972 to begin service in your name. You will need to either stop by our office to sign up for service or click here and fill out the form and establish credit with our company. A security deposit may be required.


I'm building a house, how do I get gas service?

Please call our office at (419) 878-4972 to see if gas service is available in your area. If gas service is available, please have your builder contact Waterville Gas for the procedures required to obtain natural gas service. Before service is established in your name, you will need to sign up for New Service on the web by clicking here or by visiting us at the Waterville Gas office.


What is the Customer Charge?

Monthly Customer Charge
Customer charges are those costs which are directly affected by the number of customers served. and do not vary with consumption. The Public Commission Staff has developed a consistent methodology and established certain parameters for determining the customer charge. The accounts which the Staff believe minimally compensate the utility for certain fixed costs imposed on the system by the customer, regardless of that customer's usage, should be reflected in the customer charge. the following are the referenced costs:
