Kids and Natural Gas

Adults aren't the only ones that should know about natural gas.

• Teach children not to play near gas ranges or other gas burning appliances.
• Explain to children that natural gas smells like rotten eggs so they can
  identify the odor.
• Tell older children to leave the house and go to the neighbor's house if
  they smell gas.
• Teach children not to play on gas pipes or with flexible connector pipes
  attached to gas appliances.
